Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). When you visit, the host processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer URL and browser identifier. This is required to deliver the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. A data processing agreement is in place with the host. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

Audience measurement without cookies

I use Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc., USA) to count visits. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and builds no visitor profiles. Only aggregated values such as page views, referrer, country and device type are evaluated. The measurement script is loaded from a Cloudflare server. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, my legitimate interest in improving this website. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

If you write to me, I process your details to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer needed for this purpose and no retention obligations apply.

Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
